How Vikram prepared for Deiva Thirumagal?

Vikram, who was seen in a different role in the second half of his blockbuster movie Sethu, is playing the role of a dim-witted adult with a maturity of a five-year-old in Deiva Thirumagal. The Pithamagan star has now opened up on his preparation for the character in the film.

The actor, who always prefers to be innovative when in comes to his roles, said that he loves doing challenging roles. Vikram believes that unless we do not make progressive attempts, we cannot enjoy our work. Talking about his preparation, The Raavanan actor said that he visited quite a few mentally challenged homes like Vidya Sagar and Vidya Sudha before starting the film.

Chiyaan Vikram further adds that he tried to learn by watching their body language and moments. He also spent some time talking with them to understand the nuances of their impaired speech. Adding to that his wife Shyalaja, who is also a psychiatrist by profession, helped him during the making of the film.

Deiva Thirumagal is directed by AL Vijay and produced by M Chintamani. The movie, which is relasing tommorow, also features Anushka Shetty, Amala Paul, baby Sara, Santhnam, Nasser and others in the cast.
